Acrylic 18 x 24 Magical things happen in life. While displaying my art at a winery, I met a First Nations man who told me my work speaks. He shared with me personal glimpses of his life. While there, I was compelled to intuitively sculpt a face with its mouth open. When he saw the piece, he told me I had sculpted the Sun Mask and the open mouth meant the sharing of ones soul to another. Water in most cultures represents life. I saw him rising above turbulent water to freedom and new beginnings in life.
